So, we were given an assignment in school where we have to shoot two pics. One that represents freedom, and one that represents entrapment. Here is what one of my classmates decided to do for the captive portion of the assignment. I thought the whole setup was just hilarious. Pic straight from the iphone, enjoy!

So I just went exploring today, and I found this huge farm off the side of the road. When I pulled up this guy was on a tractor plowing a huge pile of hay. This farm had everything and it smelled like it. They had enough cows to make steak for an entire city, and I’m talkin huge, oversized, barely walkin straight cows. The cows also had number tags on their ears and and red X’s on their butts. The dude I met had been working on the farm for 16 years and is getting ready to retire this year. This dude is 86! I had two other cams with me, but here are some snaps from the Holga.

Yesterday I bought a P&S camera to just walk around and have fun with those times a DSLR would be too big and too serious for what I want to shoot. The camera is perfect for me because it has full manual mode, and 12 mp’s that give a nice sized image. The image quality is pretty up there too, I would definitely recommend grabbing one of these. You may even be able to find a deal on them since the new one is coming out, the Nikon P6000. Two shots I took today with it:

So I get home today and there’s this unknown box sitting in front of my door. I’m thinking should I even open this ish!? I open it up, and inside is a Holga camera and a Polaroid back! My girlfriend decided to surprise me and bought it for me. Here is my first shot from it. A little dark, I know, I’m still trying to get used to it.

One more from the other day. I just found this one and I thought I would post it up. Later in the year I think I’m gonna do a full shoot with Andy. These shots were done kinda fast, guerilla style.

I got a chance to shoot with the coveted Canon 5d equipped with the 24-70mm L lens. I really like these two shots I was able to get during our assignment. Unfortunately, they took the cameras back and won’t be issuing them until next week.
